On 5 February 2017, at the All Star Perche meeting organised by Renaud Lavillenie, our rider Baptiste Boirie (French national team) achieved a world first by clearing 5.71m in the pole vault propelled by a Cross1000 Evo-Spirit.

The Cross1000 is the fastest model in the range (40 km/h) and its Bluetooth remote has a 15m range. A colleague manages the acceleration, allowing Baptiste to reach the jump area quickly and achieve higher vaults.
It is excellent training: he can repeat jumps without run-ups, perfect his technique without over-straining physically, and tackle higher bars before attempting them in a classic race.
